08:00 AM – Pick-up from Your Hotel in Cairo

You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning by your private driver and guide. Together, you will begin your cultural adventure in Cairo.

09:00 AM – Visit Sultan Hassan Mosque

• Sultan Hassan Mosque: Start your day with a visit to the imposing Sultan Hassan Mosque, one of the largest and most impressive mosques in Cairo. Admire the beautiful architecture, soaring minarets, and ornate decorations as your guide explains the history and significance of this mosque.

10:30 AM – Visit Rifai Mosque

• Rifai Mosque: Right next to the Sultan Hassan Mosque is the Rifai Mosque, a more modern but equally impressive place of worship. This mosque houses the tombs of several members of the Egyptian royal family and the last Shah of Iran. Explore its beautiful interiors and learn about the role of this mosque in Egypt’s modern history.

12:00 PM – Lunch

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, where you can sample traditional Egyptian dishes.

13:30 PM – Explore Old Cairo

• Old Cairo (Coptic Cairo): Continue to Old Cairo, also known as Coptic Cairo, an area rich in history and filled with old churches and synagogues. Here you will visit some of the main attractions:
  • The Hanging Church: Admire the iconic Hanging Church, one of the oldest Christian places of worship in Egypt, built on top of the gate of an old Roman fortress.
  • Coptic Museum: Visit the Coptic Museum to see an extensive collection of Coptic art and artifacts.
  • St. Serge and Bacchus Church: Explore this historic church that is said to have been built on the site where the Holy Family rested during their flight to Egypt.
  • Ben Ezra Synagogue: End your tour with a visit to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of the oldest synagogues in Egypt with a fascinating history.

17:00 PM – Return to Your Hotel in Cairo

After a day of exploring and experiencing, return to your hotel in Cairo, where you will have the rest of the evening free to relax and reflect on a wonderful day.
