• Pick-Up: Begin your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Aswan. You will travel by private vehicle or organized bus to Kom Ombo.

08:00 – Arrival at Kom Ombo

• Temple of Kom Ombo: Explore this unique temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Admire the temple’s dual design, which features separate sanctuaries for each deity, and appreciate the detailed reliefs and inscriptions that depict important scenes from ancient Egyptian mythology.

10:00 – Depart for Edfu

• Travel to Edfu: Continue your journey to Edfu, which is about an hour’s drive away.

11:00 – Arrival at Edfu

• Temple of Horus: Visit one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples, dedicated to Horus. Explore its grand façade, majestic halls, and intricate reliefs that illustrate Horus’s mythology and the temple’s historical significance.

12:30 – Lunch

• Local Restaurant: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant in Edfu, where you can rest and recharge for the afternoon.

Afternoon: El-Kab and Esna

13:30 – Depart for El-Kab

• Travel to El-Kab: Proceed to El-Kab, which is approximately an hour away from Edfu.

14:30 – Explore El-Kab

• El-Kab: Discover the ancient settlement of El-Kab, known for its remnants from the Early Dynastic Period to the Roman era. Explore temples dedicated to Horus and Seth, and view the rock carvings depicting historical and mythological scenes.

15:30 – Departure to Esna

• Travel to Esna: Head towards Esna, about an hour’s drive from El-Kab.

16:30 – Arrival at Esna

• Temple of Esna: Visit the Temple of Khnum in Esna, famous for its well-preserved columns adorned with intricate hieroglyphs and reliefs, providing insights into ancient Egyptian religious practices and cultural life.

17:30 – Return to Aswan

• Travel Back: Return to Aswan, with an estimated travel time of 1.5 hours.
