Day Trip Itinerary

07:00 – Pick-up from your hotel in Cairo

You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel in Cairo by your private driver and guide. Together, you will depart for Bubastis, located in the Nile Delta. The drive takes approximately 2 hours.

09:00 – Arrival in Bubastis

• Visit the Temple of Bastet: This temple was the main shrine dedicated to the cat goddess Bastet. Admire the remains of the temple, including the impressive columns and the sculptures of cats found here.
• Archaeological Site: Explore the ruins of the ancient city of Bubastis, including the remains of other temples and buildings that testify to the city’s rich history.

11:30 – Bubastis Museum

• Visit the Bubastis Museum: This small museum houses a collection of artifacts excavated in the area, including statues, reliefs, and other objects that provide a glimpse into life in the ancient city.

13:00 – Lunch

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant near Bubastis, where you can relax and sample the local cuisine.

14:00 – Continue the Tour

15:00 – Depart for Cairo

After a day of exploration, begin your return journey to Cairo. The drive will take approximately 2 hours, depending on traffic.

17:00 – Arrival at Your Hotel in Cairo

You will be dropped off at your hotel in Cairo, where you will have the rest of the evening free to relax and reflect on a day full of impressive sights and new knowledge.
