Day Tour Itinerary

08:00 – Pick-up from your hotel in Cairo

You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning by your private driver and guide. After a warm welcome, your adventure to the ancient wonders of Egypt begins.

09:00 – Visit Memphis

• Memphis: Start your day with a visit to the ancient capital of Memphis, one of Egypt’s most important archaeological sites. Here, you will discover the impressive remaining artifacts of this ancient city, including the gigantic reclining statues of Ramses II and the Sphinx of Memphis. Learn about the history and significance of this ancient city, and see how the excavations bring the past to life.

11:00 – Explore Saqqara

• Saqqara: Next, travel to Saqqara, the ancient necropolis of Memphis, famous for the Pyramid of Djoser, the first pyramid ever built. Explore the impressive step pyramid and learn about the early development of Egyptian architecture. Your guide will also show you other important burial complexes and mastabas in Saqqara.

13:00 – Lunch

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, where you can sample traditional Egyptian dishes.

14:00 – Visit the Pyramids of Giza

• Pyramids of Giza: After lunch, travel to the iconic Giza Plateau, where you will admire the three great pyramids of Giza: the Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of Chephren, and the Pyramid of Mykerinos. These pyramids are one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and offer a stunning view of ancient Egyptian civilization.
• Sphinx of Giza: In addition to the pyramids, visit the world-famous Sphinx of Giza, a majestic sculpture with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh. Learn about the mysteries and legends surrounding this iconic figure.

17:00 – Return to your hotel in Cairo

After a day of exploring and experiencing, return to your hotel in Cairo, where you will have the rest of the evening free to relax and reflect on the impressive experience.
