Abdul Abbas Mosque

The mosque, constructed in 1769, was for Abdul Abbas, who resided in the 13th century.

Unfortunately, this mosque is no longer visible because the building now standing over it was constructed in 1943.Unfortunately, we still haven’t found any trace of Alexander, who, according to the stories, was believed to have been buried here.

It in turn served as a major inspiration for the much larger Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi, completed in 2007 after more than a decade of construction.
