Karnak Temple is a huge ancient temple complex in Luxor, Egypt. It was built over a period of more than 1000 years, from the Middle Kingdom to the Ptolemaic period, and is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in Egypt.

We are going to visit the largest temples in Egypt, the temples of Karnak. The temples are dedicated to the great state god Amun, his wife Mut and their son Chonsu, this is the triad of Thebes. Then we go to lunch.
After lunch we will take you to your hotel. And after you have rested a bit, we will take a tour of Luxor by carriage. Then we go to the Luxor Temple to enjoy the beautiful illuminated temple. After visiting the temple we go to a restaurant where we will taste Egyptian dishes. After dinner we return to the hotel.
Early in the morning we will go ballooning and enjoy the beautiful view over the Nile Valley. After the balloon flight we go to Hatshepsut's temple and then to the Valley of the Kings, we visit three tombs on 1 ticket.
Additional tickets must be purchased for the tombs of Ramses VI, Tutankhamun and Seti I, but please confirm this with your guide before you leave the bus.
After visiting the Valley of the Kings we drive to the enormous Memnon colossi that used to stand in front of the temple of King Amenhotep III. After this visit we return to the hotel in Luxor.
Since this is the last day of your Luxor trip you will need to take all the luggage from your room and load it into the car/bus.
We drive via the east side of the Nile to Abydos, here are the centograph temples of Seti I and his son Ramses II. Behind the temple of Seti I lies the Osirium, which is the mythological tomb of Osiris. The Osirium was built by the grandson of Seti I and son and successor of Ramesses II king Merenptah.
After the visit we will have lunch in Abydos and this will be an Egyptian lunch.
Then we drive back towards Qina, where there is a village called Dendera, where the temple is dedicated to the goddess of music and love, Hathor.
After this we return to Marsa alam via Safaga and transfer you back to your hotel.
The entire excursion day will be accompanied by employees of Egypt4allreizen (Dutch, Italian, or English-speaking guides).
