Abydos
At 4 in the morning an employee of egypte4allreizen will pick you up at the hotel and we will leave from Marsa-Alam via Safaga and Qina to Abyos. You will receive a breakfast package from the hotel
We drive via the east side of the Nile to Abydos, here are the centograph temples of Seti I and his son Ramses II. Behind the temple of Seti I lies the Osirium, which is the mythological tomb of the supreme god of Egypt Osiris.
Merenptah, the son and successor of King Ramesses II, and grandson of Seti I, built the Osirium.
After the visits we will have lunch in Abydos and this will be an Egyptian lunch.
We then head back towards Qina, where you’ll find a village named Dendera. Here, you’ll discover the temple dedicated to the goddess of music and love, Hathor.
After this we return to Marsa-Alam via Safaga and transfer you back to your hotel.
The entire excursion day will be accompanied by employees of egypte4allreizen (Dutch, Italian or English-speaking guides).

Tickets to the monuments for children
– Children 0 – 3 years old free of charge.
– Children 3 to 12 years pay from 50%
– When booking the excursions, a 50% deposit is required.
All prices are subject to change.
