Hurghada Abydos and Dendera

At 5.00am an employee of egypte4allreizen will pick you up at the hotel and we will leave from Hurghada via Safaga and Qina to Abydos. You will receive a breakfast package from the hotel.

We drive via the east side of the Nile to Abydos, here are the centograph temples of Seti I and his son Ramses II. Behind the temple of Seti I lies the Osirium, which is the mythological tomb of Osiris.

King Merenptah, the son and successor of Ramesses II, and the grandson of Seti I, constructed the Osirium.

After the visits we will have lunch in Abydos and this will be an Egyptian lunch.

We then head back towards Qina, where you’ll find a village called Dendera. There, the temple is dedicated to the goddess of music and love, Hathor.

After this we return to Hurghada via Safaga and take you back to your hotel.

The entire excursion day will be accompanied by employees of egypte4allreizen (Dutch, Italian or English-speaking guides).
